Games Industry – QA Tester

A quality assurance technician tests, tune, debug and provide suggestions on possible refinements to a game, which ultimately ensure the quality  and play-ability  of the finished product.

QA testers, play-test the game, analysing and providing opinions of the games performance, highlighting any problems and suggesting ways in which to improve this.  They are essentially the games first audience, testing for bugs which vary from crashes to minor graphical glitches.

In a nutshell, they assure quality within the game, highlighting all its flaws before it is sold to the public.
