The game producer oversees the games full development, from concept stage to its shipping. They a often responsible for leading and organising numerous projects within the company, coordinating departments and ensuring the production of the game stays within budget and deadlines. Also, acting as a bridge between game developers and publishers.
Their are two types of producers, Internal and External. The internal producers are usually expected to be hands-on in the games development, working in tandem with the developers in the company.
External Producers are employed as a contractor, and may manage more than one game at a given time. They are expected to liaise with internal producers and share information of the game to the publishers.
