Continuing on from the initial modular wall I created, I decided to create numerous variations which in turn, could be used to create a simple building. These variations included:
- Wall with a doorway
- Wall with a window
- Standard straight wall
- External corner wall
- Internal corner wall
All these walls include an additional skirting board detail, more likely to be used for an internal scene.
I then exported the above assets as separate selections, importing them into Unreal Editor to understand how they would react with each other. The walls simply snapped to one another and it quickly became evident how quick and simple it would be to build an environment using these assets.
